A LINER DESIGNS EXCLUSIVE - BY VICTOR VILA

In 1908, Harland and Wolff shipyard presented a design to White Star Line representatives which would represent the next step forward in ocean liner technology. This drawing, ‘Plan D’, would set the basic outline of what would come to be known as the Olympic Class of ships - Olympic, Titanic and Britannic - three of the most famous ships in history.
